The electrostatic oiler produced by Wuhan University of Science and Technology's seminar is regarded as the research object. Firstly, charged atomization mechanism of the oiler is analyzed in the paper based on the structure and atomization process of the oiler. The mathematic model of charged amount and critical electric field intensity is deduced in the paper based on electrostatic theory. Profound discussing of atomization mechanism on the oiler is done by using the plasma body theory combining the actual working conditions of oiler beam in high voltage field.Secondly, the mechanism of the new atomization device was studied with the dielectric theory and the basic theory of solid state physics. According to the inference that the polyethylene lath in the new atomization device augments electric field strength in the oil room, electric field characteristics of Beam-plate electrode field were studied and a new mathematical method for calculating the field of Beam-plate electrode field was explored. The changes of electric field which contains insulator were discussed and the material properties of polyethylene were analyzed with the basic theory of solid state physics. Analysis showed that the space charge in Polyethylene which was in high voltage electrostatic field was hetero-charge. This produced an electric field. And this field superimposed with the old field, so the field was increased. In addition, the phenomena about polarization mutation of electret were showed. Polarization mutation can also lead to increase the field strength.Finally, microscopic view for oil atomization is studied by utilizing ATEST-212 spraying laser granularity instrument in this thesis. It is found in the experiment that blade electrode attaching additional insulating board need 16KV voltage to get the same atomizing effect as pure blade electrode need 60KV voltage. A model simplifying finite element electric field of the oil room by the Ansoft software, and give accurate numerical value to it. Simulating result demonstrates that this structure can improve field intensity distribution of the oiler room, enhance maximum field intensity, reduce working voltage. The structure improved benefits to bringing out corona discharging even more, and improve atomization effect spraying quality, and has stronger project practical value.
