In the instance of the furious competition of the board and strip material market, using electrostatic oiler was the necessary trend of the company in the board and strip material inunction field to have a good appearance and improve the quotient in the market of the production.The paper introduced the basic structure and the working principal of the electrostatic oiler ,which was made by the investigation group of Wuhan University of Science and Technology. According to the experimental data that collected by the investigation group during manufacturing the oiler, the paper provided the main factor of affecting atomization. In addition, the paper discussed the process of atomization of the oiler.The popular finite analyzing software ANSYS was used to analyze the high-voltaged electrostatic field while the oiler working. The model was accurate and effective by using Ansys Parametric Design Language(APDL), which ensured the reliability of calculation and analysis in the later analysis.The FEM model was composed as upper and lower blade high-voltaged electrostatic field. By FEM calculating of upper blade field, the paper obtained the electric intension status while the factor of blade thickness, blade clearance, width of oil room and voltage changing. According to the result of ANSYS analyzing, the paper drew the trend curve of electric field intension with the parameter changing. By FEM calculating of lower blade field, the technique of lower blade inclined spurt was simulated. According to the result of ANSYS analyzing, the paper obtained the best parameter combination of the lower blade inclined spurt achieving.In addition, the thesis discussed the theory of the oil atomization in the oiler and deduced the calculating formula about the critical electric filed intension from basic theoretic formula.At end of this paper presented some questions to be solved in the future.
