At present, the research in the area of electrostatic spraying technology mainly focus on the charged medium atomization mechanism,the electrostatic spray experiment,the numerical simulation and so on. This paper is based on the electrostatic oiler produced by Wuhan University of science and technology as a research object, the microscopic mechanism of the atomization in the high voltage electrostatic field and the air flow field was explained. Analysis the effects of air medium on the electric field by using the theory of gas discharge, and the finite element simulation to the high voltage electrostatic field of oiler room. Put forward to add needle electrode structure in the existing oiler beam, in order to make the new structure to achieve a better atomization effect. Finally, the atomization situation was analyzed under the combined action of high electrostatic and air pressure by the experiment.Firstly, according to the work of the electrostatic oiler, the micro-atomization mechanism of the liquid was expounded in high voltage electrostatic field, the impact of electric field intensity on atomization was analyzed, and the critical electric intensity of the broken liquid was duduced; Combining with the point discharge theory, the discharge process of electrostatic oiler atomizing electrode was analyzed, the reason of the knife beam electrode tip electric field strength distortion from air medium was obtained; For the effect of electrode structure on electric field, the additional needle electrode of the new knife beam structure was proposed.Secondly, the ANSOFT MAXWELL 12 finite element software is used to model calculation with the electrostatic oiler room, the impact of the knife beam electrode tip electric field strength distortion from air medium was verified; The proposed new knife beam structure was modeled and analyzed, and compared to the distribution of the electric field with original knife beam electrode, the corresponding conclusion was obtained.Finally, the microscopic mechanism of liquid spraying under the air pressure was analyzed, and the test device for experiments was designed and installed by myself, the liquid electrostatic atomization effect in the case of the air pressure supplement was observed, And the effect of the air pressure in electrostatic spray processes was obtained, provided a new method for the improvement of electrostatic oiler.
