| Structural adhesive has been widely used in many industrial and engineering fields, because it has the advantages of its low cost, light weight, uniform stress distribution, and above all, adhesive is easy to operate when used in bonding parts. However, as structural adhesive is a material of polymer composites, its performance is greatly influenced by environmental conditions. So it is of great significance to precisely investigate the cohesive strength of the adhesive material under the conditions of different temperature, humidity and strain rate in order to explore and evaluate the performance and quality of it.Based on the characteristics of testing the cohesion strength of adhesives, this paper presents an automatic testing system under the controlled environment and makes a detailed introduction to the principle of the system design, the buildup of hardware and software, the controlling methods of ambient temperature, humidity, strain rates and etc. Lastly, the Tensile properties of T2 cold-rolled copper strip and FM300K adhesive specimen were measured with the system, and it was described and improved that the problems in the test.The system adopts "PC + multi-function data acquisition card" of the design in development, and uses PCI-1711L data acquisition card to realize the acquisition of the experimental data and send control signals. The system uses the Visual Basic language to create a monitoring and controlling software. It can fulfill the functions of automatic completion of environmental regulation, performance measurement and data recording on account of its high degree of automation. The results of experiments show that this system is greatly automatic and has high accuracy in measurement. Therefore, it can be widely applied into practice. |
