High-gloss color ink-jet printing paper requires good glossness , besides, it also requires good color reducing property, ink absorption property, water resisting property, preservation property and so on . The popularization of computer and digital camera as well as the rapid development of color ink-jet printing advertising all make high request to the quality of high-gloss color ink-jet printing paper and Ink-jet printing technology. For example, the water resistance property and luminance brightness of high gloss photograph paper should achieve the quality of traditional silver-print paper , further more , the printing precision is required more high ,the coating of color ink-jet printing papers is required more fine and smooth. However, due to the development is secret, any company can develop the product which can close to or exceed to the high-end products of import in one or some properties, but still has one or few indexes , can not completely meet the needs of the people.Traditional cast coated glossy photo paper production process due to its characteristics that the water evaporates from non-coated cast side, so the coating speed is slow, ground paper is non-waterproof paper, therefore the paper products are easy to transmutative, as the cast shows that the formation of dense coatings membrane, the lower ink absorption. In this paper, experimental research, the use of coated paper as a high-gloss photo paper ink-jet printing of the substrate, with a non-coated cast coating technology, has greatly improved the process of casting the above-mentioned shortcomings Tu, simple process. The cast coating forms compact membrane, so the absorbency is low. This paper use plastic-coated paper as the base paper, use none-coated process to coat once only , this can improve the cast coating technology, simplify the processThe main works and results:(1) This paper use plastic-coated paper as the base paper, plastic-coated paper has goowater resisting property, it has no infiltration in the Z orientation, it can spread out in X Y orientation which can slow down the wrapping angle ,meanwhile , use corona discharge to pretreat the paper to make the paper have wettability which can make the paper can prone to accept water-based paint, adhesive.(2) Study on the dispersivity of nanometer silicon dioxide, use cationic dispersant, the best Dispersion conditions og nanometer silicon dioxide are: the addition of cationic dispersant is 0.5%, 60 minutes to disperse, the concentration of dispersion liquid is 15%,the rotationl speed is 5000rpm. Studies compatibility of coating compositions, use AC/AV to to survey and evaluate the rheology of the dope, provide a theoretical basis for coating coating machine the quality of performance .(3) Detect one famous photographic paper abroad , ascertain the dope component of high gloss photograph paper, investigate the influences of plastic paint , adhesive and other components on ink-jet printing performance.(4) Studies The relationship between ink-jet printing ink and paper(physical role,chemical role), it has a important influence on ink-jet printing performance, optical property and Preservation of property. Also provide a guiding role for the selection of coating components.(5) The appropriate coating formulation and process of highlight inkjet paper in the laboratory is that:Silicon dioxide: HP1055=10:1; adhesives PVA/ rubber latex =3:1 Cationic dispersant, the addition is 5%; Th addition of fixing agent is 2%; The coating weight is 25g,drying temperature is 95℃,use soft calendar , the pressure is 0.3Mpa.Some index developed in laboratory has reached the ink-jet printing paper imported from Japan,however the water resistance and light resistance is slightly better than imported ones. Due to the limitations of laboratory compared to the actual production factory,and cannot reach the coating requirements.
