Compared to diamond CBN features good heating-resistance and chemical inertance related to iron-group metal material although it's hardness is lower than diamond's.So CBN gri.wheel is specially used for grinding all kinds of iron-group metal material.CBN & diamond are used for processing both stiff and fragile material.Compared with ordinary one,CBN gir.wheel can be used in high precision & high efficiency grinding for CNC grinder with features of high speed ,high efficiency,high processing quality and long life as well as low cost,which is applied in some industries,such as auto machine tool ,toolings and bearings,etc.This paper first studies the dressing principle of CBN gri.wheel,then probe into the electric spindle---a key part of grinder and gap elm.device and take all factors into consideration that affect total grinding system. finally trial-manufacture of sample machine shall be performed on the basis of all test and researchs.The performance of ceramic gri.wheel shall be made well by selection of gri.wheel characteristic parameter.Selection of grinding data and selection of grinding liquid together with gri.wheel dressing method.And the gri.wheel dressing method should play an important role on it.If the wheel is not dressed well,the ground metal will be bonded on the gri. Wheel surface so as to increase grinding face,rise gri.temperature and aggravate wheel wear phenomena.This paper shall have a special research on all kind of dressing methods & mechanical principles for dressing and grasp main dressing characteristics of gir.wheel By doing so,A complete set of CBN gri.wheel dressing data should be got through a great deal of correcting test,thus providing a solid foundation for trial manufacture of sample machine.According to the necessary condition of grinding.This article did a detail analyse to the electric spingdle, and had a demonstrate to the spindle's rigidity, optimied spindle span,analysed the spindle system model by ANSYS software. As a result the design of electric spindle is more and more reasonable.and can guarantee the precision of grinding & other request.As well know the grinding efficiency is more and more important to the same bearing grinding machine.and it is difficulty to control the balance of the workpiece. So this article made a detail introduction of AE control system. The AE system is able to make the gri.wheel contact the workpiece at the shortest time.than began the girnding circle. And if the gringding speed is excess high, the AE system will give a command to stop the machine immediately. So if a grinding system install a AE system it will do very well at make efficiency maximize as well as assure the quality of the workpiece.As the grinder is a heart of gringing system, the performance of grinder is the key factor for improving grinding effect. Especially for CBN grinding, gri.efficiency,gri.ratio and work surface quality shall be improved by means of up grading work peripheral speed. The high speed electric spindle (7200r/min)should be designed on this paper by improving gri.wheel material,type of coolant, reliability of load-unload device, rigidity of workhead, swivel accuracy of workspindle and mag.force of electrio-magnetic centerless fixture as well as repetitivity accuracy of feed mechanism, which can provide technical guarantee for trial-manufacture of sample machine.During the investigation and experiment,the article finally introduces the CBN rial-produce,and the trial manfacture machine, From the experiment including the improvemet of load-unload, electric-spindle grinding system, dresser feed system etc. the trial sample machine finally performance the reseach content,and give us a result that lesson we did is successful!...
