The numeric control profiling flying saw discussed in this thesis is a more advanced product of flying saw based on electronic, digital, computer and manufacture technologies. The key technologies are the mechatronics, automatic numeric control, the transformations and optimal design of the ordinary flying saw structure. The flying saw is used at the end of the continuous pipe production line and is responsible for cutting the pipe. It is important equipment on the line and its capability directly influences the yield of the pipe and the benefit of the pipe factory. Its working principle is to cut off the pipe by tracing the pipe's surface, complete the feed of any arbitrary curve under the drive of servo motor and therefore, it is able to be adapted for many kinds of pipes with different models and sections. What's more, the quality of the cutting section and cutting accuracy are better.This thesis analyzes the working principle and the technological requirements of the profiling flying saw, puts forward the method used to achieve the technologic requirements, chooses the suitable control system and gives a general introduction of TRIO-MC206 motion controller. It also analyzes in detail the control system and strategy of the flying saw car as well as the cutting accuracy in the cutting process, which is followed by an optimal method.A simple description of the trio program design in the control system has been written according to the features of profiling flying saw and TRIO-MC206. Finally, the debugging process is analyzed and summarized.
