In this dissertation, the ANPyO/RDX composites were made with RDX which was used as the base explosive, and 2.6-diamino-3,5-dinitropyridine-1-oxide (ANPyO) which was used as the deterrent. A study on coating process of ANPyO on RDX was made through the orthogonal experiment and the single-factor experiment. A study on the influence of ANPyO on the proferties of RDX was made by changing the experimental methods (coating method and mixing method) and the ratio of raw materials. The structures and properties of the ANPyO/RDX composites were characterized by scanning electron microscopy (SEM), laser particle size analysis, differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), thermogravimetry (TG). mechanical sensitivity and detonation velocity tests. The results show that when RDX was coated with ANPyO by toluene suspension slurry method, the order of influencing factors for coating effect was as follows:the agitating rate, the temperature, the degree of vacuum, the adding rate; and the optimized technical condition was:the adding rate 0.02 ml·s-1, the temperature 55℃, the degree of vacuum 0.06 MPa, the agitating rate 10 r·s-1. Relative to the mixing method, ANPyO has a better coating on RDX. and the particle size distribution is more uniform. The decomposition peak temperatures of the samples are both lower than that of RDX. but the decomposition peak temperature of the sample made by coating method is 10℃higher than than that of the sample made by mixing method. The mechanical sensitivity of the coated sample decreased more significantly than the mixed sample; the detonation velocity of the coated sample is larger than the mixed sample. In the coated ANPyO/RDX composites, the better quality ratio is m (ANPyO):m (RDX)=1:9. In this condition, the mechanical sensitivity decreased more significantly. The iMPact sensitivity is 44%, and the friction sensitivity is 32%. The detonation velocity decreased smaller. When the charge density is1.73g·cm-3, the detonation velocity is 8142 m·s-1.
