The production process of bamboo-charcoal polyester with silver ions (BSP) can simply be shown as follows:Firstly, old bamboos, more than 4 years old, are made into bamboo-charcoals by means of a pre-dry technology at a temperature of 60-100℃, dry technology at 100-150℃, pre-coking technology at 150-270℃,coking technology at 270-450℃, and calcination technology at 450-1000℃. Next, bamboo- charcoals are ground into powders, whose diameters are below 1.0μm. The powders and silver ions are then processed and modified by different surface active agents. Then modified powders and polyester chips are mixed together and processed into colorants at 450℃. Finally, polyester chips are mixed with the colorants again at a certain temperature and BSP are achieved with the help of normal polyester spinning technology.In this thesis, properties and healthy functions of BSP are researched; four kinds knitted fabrics are developed and comfortable properties and healthy functions of them are tested and evaluated. Through the study of the properties, the following results are revealed: because of the powders of bamboo-charcoals and silver ions exist, the color of fiber is light grey, the fiber moisture absorption is better than general polyester fibers, specific volume resistance is distinctly smaller, static effects reduce, wearing behaviors get better, and it is convenient for people to process the fibers and use the fiber textiles.Through the study of the healthy functions, the following results are revealed: there are five healthy functions incorporated effectively in BSP, such as good far-infrared radiation, good UV protection, good anti-bacteria, good deodorizing and certain anti-electromagnetic radiation functions.The metal elements and carburets are mainly responsibility for far-infrared. UV prevention function results mainly from the carbon elements. The antibacterial function lies in the porous structures and silver ions. The deodorizing function lies in the porous structures. The silver ions, other metal elements and benzyls rings play an important role on anti-electromagnetic radiation.Through the evaluation of the comfort property, it is seen that in the same condition, wet permeability, vapor transmission and warmth-retention properties of bamboo-charcoal polyester knitted fabrics with silver ions are similar to that of bamboo-charcoal polyesters fabrics, and remarkably better than that of polyester knitted fabrics. Based on the theory of wicking effect and differential capillary effect, the interlaced fabrics with healthy and high wet permeability functions are designed and good comfort and healthy functions can be obtained.By the tests of warmth-retention, vapor transmission ,wet permeability, and fast drying properties of four kinds of the fabrics, A fuzzy mathematics method is used to evaluate the whole properties of every kind fabric. The results show: the shorter the drying time ,the lower the water-rate, the faster the wicking speed and dry speed, the better the comfortable properties of the fast drying and wet permeability fabrics; the higher the warm-retention, the faster the vapor transmission, the faster the wicking speed and the shorter the drying time, the better the comfortable properties of leisure fabrics; the better the warm-retention, the faster the vapor transmission, the fast the wicking speed and the shorter the drying time, the better the comfortable properties of the high wet permeability and leisure fabrics; the better the warm-retention, the faster the vapor transmission, the faster the wicking speed, the lower the water-rate and the shorter the drying time, the better the warm-retention, the better the comfortable properties of the underwear fabrics.Through the tests of stiffness, softness, pilling property, bursting performance, tensile elastic property and drape coefficient of the fabrics, a grey correlation analysis method are used to deal with the experimentation data of the fabrics' tests and the whole enduring functions were comprehensively evaluated. The results show: the better the anti-pilling and flexibility, the higher the bursting strength, the better the comprehensive enduring functions of the fabrics.
