With the improvement of living condition,people pay more attention to the thermal insulation property and heat-moisture comfort property of fabric.Hygroscopically exothermic fabric,which has unique hygroscopicity and heat generating performances as well as excellent comfort properties,is of great significance to be developed in the field of chemical fiber.In this paper,the aim is to develop knitted fabrics with excellent hygroscopicity and heat generating performances based on functional polyester by using different functional polyester,coffee charcoal,graphene polyester and bamboo charcoal polyester staple fiber and viscose,acrylic staple fiber,combining with moisture absorption and heating mechanism.In this paper,the research is aimed to develop hygroscopically exothermic fabric based on functional polyester and explore the role of raw materials in its hygroscopic and exothermic mechanism by optimizing the yarn composition.Meanwhile,not only the fabric can meet the requirements of hygroscopicity and heat generating performances,but also optimize the cost.Using 1.67 dtex × 38 mm polyester staple fiber,1.67 dtex × 38 mm coffee charcoal polyester staple fiber,1.33 dtex × 38 mm graphene polyester staple fiber,1.67 dtex × 38 mm bamboo charcoal polyester staple fiber,1.67 dtex × 38 mm acrylic staple fiber,1.33 dtex × 38 mm rayon staple fiber and 1.33 dtex × 38 mm graphene rayon staple fiber as raw materials,three group of weft knitted fabrics were prepared by blending: No.1,polyester/rayon-35/65,coffee charcoal polyester/Rayon-35/65,graphene polyester/rayon-35/65 and bamboo charcoal polyester/rayon-35/65;No.2,coffee charcoal polyester/acrylic/rayon-20/35/45,graphene polyester/acrylic/Rayon-20/35/45 and bamboo charcoal polyester/acrylic/rayon-20/35/45;No.3,coffee charcoal polyester/acrylic/graphene rayon-20/35/45,graphene polyester/acrylic/graphene rayon and bamboo charcoal polyester/acrylic/graphene rayon-20/35/45.The effects of different functional polyester,different yarn components(within/without acrylic,rayon/graphene rayon)on the heat-moisture comfort property and hygroscopicity and heat generating performances of the fabric were discussed.And the physical properties of the yarn and the fabric permeability,tensile strength and other properties were characterized.The results show that functional polyester/viscose-35/65(3 kinds),coffee charcoal polyester/acrylic/viscose-20/35/45 and functional polyester/acrylic/graphene viscose-20/35/45(3 kinds),a total of seven kinds of fabrics have met the industry standards(FZ/T73036-2010)for hygroscopically exothermic requirements.In general,compared to polyester,blended fabrics of different functional polyester,the heat-moisture comfort was improved,and the degree of improvement is as follows: coffee charcoal polyester > graphene polyester> bamboo charcoal polyester.After adding the yarn component of acrylic,the heat-moisture comfort of the second group fabric was improved comparing to the first group(functional polyester/ viscose-35/65 fabric).The third group of fabrics,choosing the yarn component graphene viscose instead of viscose,changed that its thermal comfort has declined and the wet comfort has been strengthened,compared to the second Group of fabrics.The role of each yarn component in the hygroscopically exothermic mechanism is as follows: viscose staple fiber within many hydrophilic groups,good moisture absorption performance and high moisture regain,mainly play the role in moisture absorption and heating.Graphene viscose has strengthened the heat generating in a certain degree because of its far infrared Function.Different functional polyester has a good thermal insulation property.In addition,coffee charcoal polyester has a unique pore structure,graphene polyester increases the porosity because of its fold state in fibers and bamboo charcoal polyester has a good moisture transfer property because of its bamboo charcoal powder having good adsorption,as a consequence of which,they also play a role of conducting moisture.Acrylic fibers are prone to have capillary effects due to the presence of grooves on their surfaces,and are responsible for transferring the moisture from the inner surface to the outer surface of the fabric.Acrylic could also enhance the thermal insulation property of fabric.
