Sustainable development as a new concept and model of development has been hampered by the current research emphasis。ecological footprint indicator which is a measure of human use of natural levels of the new comprehensive index was first putword in 1992 by an Ecological economist William from Canada and was improved and developed by Wackernagel who is William doctoral students。Ecological Footprint is calculated a certain area of human life consumption of material, energy and services which is Demanded various ecological productive land area (ecological footprint), Used to represent the needs of the human pressure on the ecological environment;while it is Calculated that The region can provide the ecological productive land area (ecological carrying capacity),used to Used to represent ecological capacity;it was determined whether the region in a state of sustainable development by making a Comparison between the ecological footprint and ecological carrying capacity。This articles is on the foundation of concept, calculation method and current research result of ecosystem footprint, Adopt a national hectare method,and carry on a dynamic state calculation to the balanced factor and the yield factor。It was used by this paper, the ecological footprints of Chongqing were calculated in the period of 1997~2007 on the basis of the statistical yearbooks of recently years. According to the calculated results, the ecological footprint of Chongqing was dynamic analyzed. The results shows that the total demand of The agriculture resources ecological footprint of Chongqing Descend about 3.21% from 33927021.20hm2 to 32837308.39 hm2,while the total agriculture resources ecological carrying capacity increased about 5.63% from 9889688.193hm2 to 10446837.507hm2. But there are large ecological footprint deficit every year, it indicated that the consumption of the natural resources has already exceeded the reborn ability of natural ecosystem in Chongqing; the development of Chongqing is keeping off an unsustainable state. But the ecological footprint per ten thousands Yuan GDP decreased continually in 11 years, and the ability of economy development is strengthening gradually. So, the relevant measures must be taken to reduce the agriculture resources ecological footprint, and enhance the capacity of sustainable development.At the last, This paper summarizes main conclusions of this study's, including Perfection of the theory, technology and methods of innovation, practical application, etc.。for this research model evaluation, Some shortcomings and need to be further studied is Put forward。...
