The technology of EAF steelmaking has been had for hundred year's history, which developed rapidly in recent 30 years especially. In the guidance of UHP-EAF, the technology in technics,equipment,Energy-saving,material has gained a high advancement. Simultaneity, the production efficiency in EAF also has been increased many times.The EAF steelmaking has developed rapidly in our country, The EAF steelmaking technology has been developed rapidly in recent years. The Part of technical index of EAF operation has achieved the international level. However, some still needs to be advanced. Because of enormous population and shortage of ecological resources, Energy-saving is definitely the trend for the development of EAF Processing. For this reason, we need to conduct an in-depth research on EAF energy-saving.The discourse according to the research work of MCC-SFRE Heavy Industry Equipment Co. Ltd and based on the experiences of other steel industry in EAF energy-saving, especially in productive practice of 50t EAF in MCC-SFRE, through the research of EAF steelmaking technology and energy-saving educed the harvest.The discourse is discussed with several technologies as follows and educed the conclusion:(1) Optimization of electricity power supply and operationThere are two aspects content have been researched, which are shortening the time of Reactor connected and constituting electricity Power supply logical.Provided a relation between the Reactor connected and EAF energy's wastage through a reactance math model. The part also has constituted electricity power supply logical for the sake of low energy's wastage and short melt time.(2) Strengthen the oxygen's supply:The element in molten steel will deliver heat when they bring chemical reaction with the oxygen. The oxygen will be blast into EAF after fifteen or twenty minutes. The heat from oxidation reaction can be converted into electricity energy so that achieve the effect of electricity-saving.(3) The technologies of scrap steel preheatingThe paper has researched the effect of scrap steel preheating in the last. The high temperature gas from EAF can be used in preheating scrap steel.In this way, can reduce the loss of heat in EAF gas and shorten the melt time.
