| With the wide usage of some difficult processing materials in industry, such as Titanium, stainless steel, it is contradictory between the poor cutting quality and wide use. Therefore, choosing a proper cutting method to solve the contradiction is very important both for hole processing and development of mechanical industry.EDM(Electro Discharge Machining) is one kind of special processing method, and it is widely used in mechanical area. First, to take Electro Discharge Machining as a research object, this paper describes the principle of Electro Discharge Machining, through comparing the electrical parameter of Titanium and stainless steel after several experiments (including electric spark forming, high-speed electric spark Perforation and electronic fusion explosion processing) and confirm the processing method. The experiment results are used to analyze which parameter influences working efficiency most, and then confirm the relation between electrical parameter and the processing method. Second, compares the electrode and chooses the safe and high-effective method. Finally, considering the influence both for processing efficiency and electrode wastage by electrical parameter, the paper confirms the electronic fusion explosion processing as the proper processing method. The specimen can be treated after processing with the metallographic analysis and hardness testing, it shows the electronic fusion explosion processing is effective and proper for trepanning, it is very effective for processing other pipes. |
