In recent years, plastic processing industry has a rapid development, with the plastic products have been deep into every corner of society which greatly facilitates public lives. But, the "white pollution" problem caused by waste plastic has become more obvious, causing serious environmental pollution and broken. The most effective way to solve the problem is the recycling and resource of waste plastic. It can not only reduce environmental pollution, but also turning waste into wealth,harm into good, to achieve resource efficiency and recycling; It has great potential in industrial production, be the only way to sustainable development for plastic industry. At present, a variety of waste plastic recycling technology has been developed over domestic and international, number of waste plastic recycling products hitting the market.Waste plastic recycling product is a commodity, also a potential important source of risk and very closely with human health and the environment. Therefore, its possible environmental risks can't be ignored. To ensure ecological safety and human health, to achieve real waste recycling, before the waste plastic recycling products go to market, using reasonable methods on environmental safety and risk evaluation.Topics from "Solid waste environmental safety assessment of research" is the "eleventh five-year" national science and technology support programme key projects. "Technical specification for plastic waste resources and risk management research" is one of the sub-topics. This article is combined with the corresponding reports of the sub-topics. Four major flows of waste plastic recycling products (recycled plastics, renewable oil, recycled building materials and refuse derived fuel) was researched in this article, and hazards identification was carried out in all the flow. After the analysis for waste plastic recycling in the environmental impact, determine the evaluated receptor (the soil enzymes and plant) and the main exposure route and ways of receptor. Based that do the experimental design, respectively to do the risk analysis and estimate the impact of the waste recycling product on soil enzymes (urease, catalase) activity and plant (lettuce) germination rate, ecological toxic of the bud elongation, and to do the risk assessment and characterization on the potential hazards of environmental pollution and ecological damage. Finally, apply various environmental risk control measures focus on recycling waste plastic products.
