Study Of The Applying Plant Dyes To Lyocel

Natural dyes have good environmental compatibility and good pharmacare performance. With human's environmental awareness enhanced and the increasing emphasis on the health, Natural dyes have drawn many natural dyes research and application institutions' attention, and the application involving many areas. But the natural dyes also have deficiencies,for example, the poor color fastness, especially light fastness is very difficult to solve, it needs to be improved with the aid of mordant. Because the mordant mostly used in daily production is metal-mordant, the metal-mordant significantly reduce the environmental benefits of natural dye and they are mostly used in daily production, therefore, carrying out research on natural dyes and natural mordant's effect on the natural dyes is very necessary,and that aslo meet the current green theme that human initiated.This paper research on the natural dyes dyeing the Lyocell fiber fabric the first time, vegetable dyes to grape seed extract, turmeric extract, green tea extract for the study, and study the dyeing mechanism and direct dyeing properties of the vegetable by dyes grape seed extract, turmeric extract, green tea extract for object; and then using plantain flower extract and granatum extract as vegetable mordant analyse the different dyeing effect between the vegetable mordant and the metal mordant:ferrous sulfate and metal and aluminum potassium sulfate, educed the dyeing property of the vegetable mordant, and try to explore the mechanism of the vegetabe mordant.First of all, I have an orthogonal direct dyeing experiment, explore direct dyeing parameters of grape seed extract, turmeric extract and green tea extract used in Lyocell fabric by comparing the absorbance of dyeing liquid and residue and dyed samples' K/S value, analysing the color indexes amd comparing the color characteristic of the fabrics, explore the three types of vegetable dyes'dyeing mechanism by analysing the infrared spectroscopy, analyse the dyeing properties of the vegetable dyes by testing the color fastness of the fabrics dyed.Because the color fastness of the direct dyed fabrics is very low, so I used the vegetable mordant and compared the mordant with the metal mordant, have a preliminary exploration vegetable mordants' dyeing mechanism by analysing infrared spectroscopy, analyse the dyeing properties of the vegetable mordant by testing the colors fastness of the fabric dyed.At last, this paper concluded the research results. The conclusions of this paper have a certain significance and practical value for the development of vegetable dyes and industrial production.
