| This thesis makes further study on the ecological environment of the Yin Ruins, by using limited literature, rich oracle bones information, a large number of archaeological datum, and absorbing some related previous research. This paper is divided into five parts, including introduction, the ecological environment of the Yin Ruins, the impact of the ecological environment on the Yin Ruins, the Shang's people's understanding, protection and management of the ecological environment of the Yin Ruins, and summary. The first part simply describes the Yin Ruins and ecological environment, proposes the range of space-time, significance of topics and research methods, simply reviews the result of previous study, and shows the need to further study the ecological environment of the Yin Ruins. The second part demonstrates that the Yin Ruins in late Shang Dynasty had excellent ecological environment by studying the Yin Ruins' location, ecological climate, hydrology, soils, geology, landforms, rivers, minerals, animal and plant resources and so on. The third part demonstrates the impact of ecological environment on the Yin Ruins, by studying the reason that Pangeng moved the capital to Yin, and development of agriculture, handicraft industry and commerce in the late Shang Dynasty. The fourth part indicates ancestors' awareness, protection and management of the ecological environment, by using a large number of archaeological datum and oracle bones to study the Shang's people's weather forecast, understanding of the relationship between rainfall and agriculture, protection of the animal and plant resources of the Yin Ruins, treatment of sewage and refuse, dredging of the water of Huan River. The fifth part is summary, summarizing the main contents of the article. |
