In this work, the ingredient and the property of antifouling coating were investigated with the rotator which prepared by our laboratory, expecting to design excellent antifouling coating. The performance of acrylate resin were studied by several means, in order to supply perfect matrix for antifouling coating design. The detail research contents and results are summarized as follows:(1) The contrast experiment of two sets rotator with different working principle were studied, the result showed that the rotator A was suit to evaluate the property of antifouling coating and the rotator B was suit to evaluate the property of resin; at the begin of accelerating seawater test, the rotate speed had remarkable influence on ablation rate, along with time increased, the rotate speed doesn't work on ablation rate of some antifouling coating; on contrast with exposure to marine environment, proved that accelerating seawater test could evaluate the property of antifouling coating fast and effectively; The surface properties of the coating were characterized by some techniques such as SEM, EDX, laser share focus microscope and so on, discovered that the ablation rate of coating is related with amount of holes on the coating surface, the holes was more, the ablation rate was higher, the roughness was higher.(2) The factors that affected the property of antifouling coating and property of designed antifouling coating were discussed using accelerating seawater test and exposure to marine environment, results showed that assistant antifouling agents EPTA and isothiazolone could improve the antifouling property of coating, the coating which using AZ2-74+AC-6 resin as matrix has excellent antifouling property, the relation between amount of rosin and ablation rate of coating is not direct ratio; the designed antifouling coating 675,67,672,671 had excellent antifouling property.(3) The property of acrylate resin were studied by several means such as accelerating seawater test, salt solution immersion test and exposure to marine environment, crylic acid zinc resin match with crylic acid copper resin that improve the property of resin, it not only made the resin have steady ablation rate, but also enhanced the antifouling property of resin; the acrylate resin that imported silicon rubber had low surface energy and low ablation rate, the adding of silicon rubber could control the polishing rate of resin, at the same time, it could reduce adhesion of alga.(4) Compared with the experiment methods used in this work, illuminated that accelerating seawater test emphasized on the polishing rate, it fitted for the coating which have polishing property; contact angle measurement can reflected surface energy of coating, it was suit to evaluate the coating that has low surface energy; anti-algae activities experiment and exposure to marine environment had universal applicability, these were the same with kinds of coatings.
