In this paper, the dyeing properties of PA carpet/yarn dyed by acid dyes were researched. The fixing method and ultrasonic wave technology were used to improve the wash fastness. Besides, the impact of the light fastness on PA carpet yarn dyed with acid dyes combination was studied. the adding Anti-UV auxiliaries method or the ultrasonic wave technology were adopted in order to improve the light fastness. The influences of dyeing and fixation conditions on the K/S value, the wash fastness, the light fastness etc were studied. The process flow rationalization was made and the optimized process was obtained by the orthogonal test.The results showed that the effect of dyeing on PA carpet/yarn with fixing agent Zetesal NR was preferable. The optimize process of the dye-fixing process PA carpet /yarn dyed by Telon dyes was defined as follows: the fixing agent Zetesal NR2.0g/L, temperature 70℃for 30minutes. The optimize process of the dye-fixing process PA carpet /yarn dyed by Telon A dyes was defined as follows: the fixing agent Zetesal NR 1.4g/L, temperature 65℃for 30minutes. In both conditions, the wash fastness could be improved 1-2. The best dyeing process of ultrasonic wave were at 75℃of temperature, 45 min of time and 70% of power, the wash fastness could be improved 0.5-1. Compared with conventional dyeing,K/S value of the dye-fixed PA carpet/yarn had no significant change with two methods, the rubbing fastness reached 5, the light fastness reached 4or more.The light fastness of PA carpet/yarn dyed by Telon dyes mixtures was unsatisfactory. The light fastness was grade2 when PA carpet/yarn was dyed by three dyes mixture. Light Fastness Improver X was more effective for improving the light fastness of dyed PA carpet/yarn. The optimize process of the combination dyeing was defined as follows: The usage of Light Fastness Improver X was 5.0 g/L, the temperature was 90℃for 60minutes, in which the light fastness reached 3~4.
