There are several defects of PF resin glue:high cost, high hot-press temperature. So we studied for improving PF resin glue. Especially we studied on glue applying means for canceling second drying, set up device of even press gelatinize and made experiments on even press gelatinize.Plybamboo form is a estate which depends mostly on the resources, over the past few years, with the rapid development of bamboo industry, our bamboo resources which could be utilized are gradually reduced, and unit price for bamboo increased rapidly. With the bamboo price increased, the cost of bamboo mats and bamboo curtains for per cubic meters plybamboo form has been increased to 2300 RMB. Other side price of phenol which is used in manufacturing PF resin has reached to 16000-17000RMB per ton, so the unit price for PF resin glue has been increased to 6500RMB per ton. Therefore this disquisition started with the glue and glue application means which are used in bamboo curtain plywood production, successfully developed 2006 PF resin glue and even press gelatinize.For cutting down the cost of PF resin without sacrificing quality, we add more formaldehyde in PF formula and add formaldehyde twice in PF manufacturing process and mainly react at 90 degrees Centigrade so as to reduce free hydroxybenzene and free aldehyde in PF resin. At the same time, add more alkaline activator in PF formula to make the PF resin remain highly actively, so the bamboo chick can avoid second drying after gluing. Through analysis on the result of orthogonal experiment, we have confirmed that the storage time of PF resin can reach 24 days, and hot-press temperature is 130 degrees Centigrade, and the plybamboo Mechanical strength is the best when the mol-ratio of phenol to formaldehyde to sodium hydroxide is 1:2:0.4 and the mol-ratio of phenol to formaldehyde added second time is 1:0.429.The dipping gelatinize which is used now in plybamboo manufacturing process have many defects:wasting glue, add second drying and some PF resin glue solidified in second drying process. So the dipping gelatinize made the cost of plybamboo higher and reduced the quality. So we proposed the conception of even press gelatinize according to bamboo curtain shape. And we confirmed even press gelatinize can be used in plybamboo manufacture through several exploratory experiments.We set up the production process of plybamboo panel based on 2006 PF resin glue and even press gelatinize. This process have several innovations:the bamboo curtain is used even press gelatinize to spread 2006 PF resin glue; assembling bamboo curtains into a panel when applying adhesives to the bamboo curtains; hot pressing the panel after 50mins without second drying.This research achievement of 2006 PF resin glue reduced glue cost on the premise of ensuring that the plybamboo panel measure up to the national standards. The finding of even press gelatinize changed traditional means of glue application used to bamboo curtains, cancelled second drying, improved production quality, reduced glue waste, and also saved enormous energy. So the findings of 2006 PF resin glue and even press gelatinize reduced plybamboo panel cost on the premise of ensuring plybamboo panel quality, increased market competitiveness. Under the current strategic situation that plybamboo panel faces serious challenges; this study is a great practical significance.
