| This study optimized the method for determining the amount of glue applied to cigarettes based on the identification of lap adhesive markers and developed a set of intelligent control glue supply equipment for cigarette lap adhesive,achieving the uniformity and accuracy of cigarette lap adhesive glue application.On this basis,by studying the effects of cigarette lap adhesive glue quantity on the appeareace quality,physical quality,mainstream smoke components,harmful smoke components and sensory quality of cigarettes grades A and B,the reasonable amount of glue applied to grades A and B were determined,and the control system was applied to industrialized cigarette production.(1)This study optimized the method for determining the amount of glue applied to cigarettes based on the identification of lap adhesive markers by studying the control method of cigarette lap adhesive glue quantity.The experiment screened out zinc chloride as a marker,with a suitable addition amount between 2.5-6.0 mg / g.The content of zinc ions in the empty cigarette paper tube of the test cigarette was determined by ICP-MS method,and the amount of glue applied to each cigarette was calculated.This method had good repeatability and could measure the amount of cigarette lap adhesive glue.Under different application conditions,the design value was consistent with the measured value,and the deviation of the measurement result of the amount of glue was less than 3.0%.In addition,a method for determining cigarette lap adhesive glue quantity applied by weighing was also optimized.This method was based on cigarette lap adhesive glue quantity consumed within a set time and the number of cigarettes rolled,to obtain the average amount of glue applied to each cigarette.The detection result of this method had a small deviation,but it expressed the average amount of glue applied to each cigarette within a certain period of time(3min),not the accurate amount of glue applied to each cigarette.(2)This study developed a set of intelligent control glue supply system composed of PLC control unit,servo drive unit,glue pump,glue cylinder,glue nozzle and related pipelines.By calibrating and setting with the actual measured value of the amount of glue and based on the linear relationship between the amount of glue applied and the speed of the cigarette machine,the PLC intelligent controller could determine the instantaneous amount of glue according to the speed of the cigarette machine and drive the servo motor to drive the gear pump to supply glue according to the instantaneous amount of glue,thus forming a synchronous and linearly related,pulse-free precise and stable glue supply technology with the amount of glue applied and the speed of the cigarette machine.The traditional weighing method was used to evaluate cigarette lap adhesive glue quantity by this system,and the marker measurement method was used to verify the amount of glue.After using this system,the control deviation of cigarette lap adhesive glue quantity was reduced from 0.647 m L / 1000 sticks to 0.004 m L /1000 sticks,and the control accuracy of cigarette lap adhesive glue quantity was reduced from 25.6 % to 4.0 %(coefficient of variation).This system not only improved the uniformity and accuracy of cigarette lap adhesive glue,but also reduced waste of glue and cigarettes,improved cigarette product quality,and provided new lap adhesive glue technology equipment for tobacco rolling.(3)The study determined the effect of cigarette lap adhesive variety and its amount on the appeareace quality,physical quality,mainstream smoke components,harmful smoke components and sensory quality of cigarettes.If the cigarette lap adhesive glue quantity is less than the optimal range,the phenomenon of bursting will occur.If the cigarette lap adhesive glue quantity is greater than the optimal range,uneven lap or even glue overflow will occur.As cigarette lap adhesive glue quantity increased,the sensory quality of cigarettes gradually decreased,mainly manifested as increased irritation,increased odor and dryness,and decreased cleanliness.However,the physical quality of cigarettes,conventional smoke components,harmful components release and cigarette hazard index H value hardly changed.By evaluating the sensory quality and physical appearance quality of cigarettes,the optimal range of cigarette lap adhesive glue was determined: 2.3-3.0 m L / 1000 sticks for 1# glue,and1.5-2.0 m L / 1000 sticks for 2# and 3# glue.(4)The study applied the intelligent control system for cigarette lap adhesive glue to the industrial production of cigarettes grades A and B.The standard deviation of the amount of glue was reduced from 0.686 m L / 1000 sticks to below 0.005 ml / 1000 sticks,a reduction of more than 90.0 %.The coefficient of variation was reduced from25.6 % to below 0.22 %,and the error in the amount of glue was below 0.03 m L / 1000 sticks.The sensory quality of cigarettes was significantly improved,and there was no significant difference in smoke quality and physical appearance quality compared with the control sample,saving a comprehensive processing cost of 0.416 CNY/box. |
