TZ-technical center excavator department is the main research on excavator open-pit mining. In order to improve the efficiency of research, excavator department introduces UG in 2007 and realize digital design and information management. In product development and UG application process, excavator department need second development to reduce artificial calculation because of the revision of the design scheme, Besides China's enterprises in the product manufacturing is mainly base engineering drawing, but UG can not completely meet our country enterprise drawing standards, which need to be customized.This topic base on the enterprise actual usage, to improve the design efficiency in excavator-design and first proposed the development train of mathematical relationship and model integrated intelligent design calculation system. Excavator department is UG main user, in order to realize good compatibility on data, so we puts forward the data integration platform based on intelligent design calculation system, in order to solve repetitive artificially computing problems Intelligent design calculation based on model parametric design, through the equation solution, data interface and parametric model, integrate the force, torque, speed and based data etc. When designer modify physical quantity and size parameters, the system solve the corresponding data automatically and model for parts also amendment automatically, which can greatly reduce the design scheme for changes of repeated computation, shorten the different amounts of large mine excavator special components design cycle.In addition, in order to development drawing module to satisfy the TZ-standards, the topic research engineering drawing module, through parameterized-drawing, database calls, symbols library, information management, the system increased TZ-standard pattern, tagging, symbols, drawing module and various operation, and most of the system module can be used independently, besides this system have stronger universality and practicality, which can improve the drawings efficiency.Excavator intelligent design calculation system is a huge project and this paper explore excavator special components design based on the theory of software development and describe some development mature module. Practice has proved that, the system can provide research and development aided design calculations for specialized components of excavators enterprise.
