With the widely use of plastic products and strongly demand of it, The energy consumption of plastic molding machines has been paid more and more attention to. There are Many plastic molding processing methods in the world, including the injection molding, extrusion molding, pressing molding, etc.injection molding become the most important molding thermoplastics processing methods because it can produce the complex and accurate product and it can also produce the product high efficiency ang huge quantity for a long time.There are many factors that have an effect on the energy consumption of the injection molding machine, the mutual interactions between factors constrained its influnce on the energy complexly. There are mainly two factors: the first one is improving to the injection molding machine by the designers for energy saving, this is the main energy saving method to the injection molding machine, but the fact is it needs a long time and a large investment at the begining, but it is also constrainted by other related techniques. The second one is adjusting and optimization the parameters of the injection molding machine by the operators to achieve energy saving when the machine is working, this method is very simple and the result of the energy-saving effect is obviously, but it usually through the mrthord of "trial and error" with experience to select parameters.The possibility of the energy saving to injection molding machine is very strong because the difference of the energy consumption in every period of a cycle time is very large and the energy consumption are identical to each cycle of action.The research object in this article is the injection molding machines which produces by Shanxi Fenxi Heavy Industry and its model is WK400. it need to find the influnce between the injection parameters and the energy consumption through simulation analysis and experimental verification of plastics injection molding machine, Specific contents are:1. We created screw metering section of the injection molding machine and the flow model in the software of the PROE,then calculation in the viscoelastic fluid simulation package POLYFLOW,the drive torque of screw can be calculated and then we can get the value of the energy consumption in the fusion time,at last the relationship between the injection parameters and energy consumption can be obtained by the energy value range analysis in the orthogonal experimental design of the program table.2.The real-time output power of the servo motor can be collected by experimental platform of the WK400 injection molding machine, also the relationship between the injection parameters and energy consumption can be obtained by the energy value range analysis in the orthogonal experimental design of the program table under the experiment. At last, we can get a series of injection parameters which is the most energy saving program for injection molding machine.3.The experimental data can revise the theoretical model through comparing the simulation results with the experimental results.and it can make the theoretical model practical for the more Injection molding machine.
