The Study Of The Relationship Between Modern Lifestyle And The Visual Expression Of Indoor Fabrics

Generally speaking, there are four parts of the Visual Expression of Indoor Fabric: the structure of the fabric, pattern, color and style; its style may divide into two types: the tradition and the modern. This study selected the middle-class in Beijing and studied their lifestyle, and analyzed the data which was collected by the questionnaire survey. Through the analysis of their Consuming Lifestyle, Culture Lifestyle, Public Lifestyle and Leisure Lifestyle, the paper discussed the relationship between Modern Lifestyle and the Visual Expression of Indoor Fabrics in depth—which are the influences of each of the four lifestyles to the Brand Consciousness, Aesthetic Ideas, Personality and Fashion, as well as Interests and Tastes of the middle-class people when they make their choice. At last, the paper concluded on the character of Beijing middle-class's consuming style, the influence of modern lifestyle to Indoor Fabric Design, and the improvement of Fabric Design to lifestyle. All of them provided reference to future Indoor Fabric Design.
