In the present work, based on BODIPY fluorophore and multi-amide receptor,3 fluorescent probes were designed and synthesized. All of the compounds were characterized by 1H NMR,13C NMR,HRMS. Their optical properties of response to Cd2+were systematically investigated by means of UV-Visible spectrophotometer and Fluorescence spectrophotometer. The sensor S1, based on BODIPY fluorophore, multi-amide receptor, and decorated by 4-methoxystyryl group, was able to recognize Cd2+sensitively and selectively in neutral aqueous solution; The sensor S2, based on BODIPY fluorophore, multi-amide receptor, and decorated by 4-dimethylaminostyryl group, could response to Cd2+ in acid condition, which has the potential to detect Cd2+in cancer cell. Because of the expanded conjugation, the emission wavelengths of sensor S1 and S2 were 653 nm and 633 nm, respectively, which exhibited the application in near IR. In addition, the two sensors both appeared dual-emission with excitation at 350 nm.The sensor S3 with di-receptor, based on BODIPY fluorophore and multi-amide receptor, was able to response to Cd2+sensitively and selectively in neutral aqueous solution. Upon optimizing the condition of buffer solution, it showed well competive in recognition of Cd2+. Because of the conjugate field expanded by the two receptor, the emission wavelengths of sensor S3 was 638 nm, which also achieved the detection of Cd2+in near IR. The sensor S3 also appeared dual-emission, but with excitation at 550 nm.
