Ventilation is an important part of coal mine production safety, to achieve a stable and reliable ventilation system of coal mine production safety is of great significance. With the changes of coal mining, carrying on the corresponding transformation and coordination on ventilation system immediately, controlling series ventilation strictly, strengthening local ventilation management, putting an end to unplanned power outage of local fans, is the premise of ensuring ventilation systems regular and rational, reliable and stable operation. Currently, with the gradual increase of the mine production capacity, ventilation system becomes more complex increasingly and artificially decoding is more time-consuming. Thus, with the help of the modern information management techniques, using ventilation simulation and decision-making system to manage the mine ventilation system has been the general trend.Daning coal mine in JinCheng city of ShanXi Asian American-Daning Energy Cor. Ltd is a high-methane coal mine. The advanced even dug technology is adopted in this mine, thereby increasing the advance rate of the tunnel and the rate of marginal coal recovery, but at the same time, the management difficulties of ventilation also come up, that is, the air demand is very big in this coal, and there are also many into-return air shafts, further, there are also a lot of roadways, many of which are latticed, so it is very difficult to carry out daily ventilation management. So as to deal with various existing problems in the mine ventilation, improve the informatization level of ventilation system and achieve visualization and automation of the ventilation network decoding and airflow adjust scientifically, reasonably, effectively and thoroughly, thus, introducing advanced, efficient and practical mine ventilation visualization system proves to be the key to promote enterprise development. With the help of three-dimensional simulation and decision-making system Ventsim and with the use of ventilation network regulation theory, the author has carried out study of ventilation system optimization and transformation of Daning mine. Its main contents are as follows:1. Having looked through nearly 20 years of literatures about softwares of ventilation safety at home and abroad, and combined with the actual situation of ventilation system of Daning coal mine, the author chooses Ventsim three-dimensional simulation and decision-making system which is suitable for Daning coal mine and more advanced software systems in the current ventilation field.2. The three-dimensional simulation and decision-making system of the existing Daning coal mine ventilation system has been constructed, and using the system to optimize and study the existing coal mine ventilation system of Daning and the rectification plan is proposed. Through simulating the optimized and reconstructive ventilation system, in the condition of fulfilling the wind conditions everywhere, the static pressure of the central air shaft fan reduced by 180.1 Pa, the power reduced by 131.4kW, the static pressure of the shaft fan of the mining area reduced by 179.4Pa, the power reduce by 99.3 kW, and also the total volume air has a slight increase.3. Using the relevant theory of mine ventilation system design, two sets of four kinds of schemes have been designed on the western district of Daning mine, and every program has constructed the three-dimensional simulation and decision-making system. Through the simulation analysis of each scheme, we determine to take the program II as the Western District ventilation system, because its quantities are less, its ventilation cost is lower, and its ventilation management is relatively easier.4. Using mine ventilation network and air volume adjustment theory, the problems in the Western District ventilation systems simulation are analysed and some reasonable suggestions are proposed.After more than a year of test, Ventsim, the three-dimensional simulation and decision-making system works well on Daning coal mine and provides a lot of useful informations for daily ventilation management, thereby making the ventilation management of Daning coal mine simplified, the energy consumption of blower fan economized.
