Study On The Dynamic Comprehensive Evaluation Of The Ecological Environment Of 12 Provinces And Cities In Western China

Ecological environment is a global problem to be faced, it depends on the basic material conditions of the survival of mankind and making varieties of production practices,and has a huge impact on the basic material conditions of life and our economic development of social .Western region of our country is a heavy industrial base and an important strategic base. For a long time, people ignored the ecological and environmental problems, which lead that the ecological environment in western China suffer a series of serious damage.such as water shortages, forest ecosystem function decline and desertification.In order to safeguard sustainable development on our national economic, social and ecological environment in the western region, the study of Western eco-environment is very important.This paper selects 6 years (2003 -2008) of the data on the 12 provinces and cities in western China, using a variety of evaluation methods to dynamic comprehensive evaluation on western ecological environment, as well as offering some relevant countermeasures and suggestions for western ecological environment management and protection. The main contents include:Firstly,according to the theory of environmental assessment and practical ecological environment in west ,this paper establishes a consistent western environment evaluation index system,which mainly includes three aspects that reflect natural environmental indicators, economic indicators and social environmental indicators.Secondly, this paper makes dynamic evaluation of the various indicators by the set of indicators Scatter,which obtain the weight coefficient of each indicators at different times. by analyzing the weight coefficients of the indicators,we find that main factors of the ecological environment of the western include ndustrial production waste emissions and the natural environment,and offers some policy recommendations for the western ecological environment management and protection.Finally,on the basis of the weight coefficient of each index, this paper makes comprehensive evaluation on the ecological environment of 12 provinces and cities in the West by utilizing the entropy and the ideal point method and have a comprehensive sort of the ecological environment of 12 provinces and cities status.
