"Coal Mine Safety Regulations" states: "For inclined belt conveyor roadway, on the operation, the fortified reversed device and brakes must be installed at upward; brakes must be fitted at downward." Thus, conveyor brakes are essential, very important part of the complete braking system features, performance, good or bad, a direct impact on the security and reliable operation of the machine. The disc brakes have many advantages with more and adjustable brake torque, quick action, good thermal performance, easy use and maintenance. For large volume, long distance and downward belt conveyor, disc brakes usually are fitted.In this paper the dynamic analysis of belt conveyor has been finished, including its dynamic model of the selection and dynamic equation and its simulation. By analyzing the viscoelastic characteristics of the belt, Vogit model is selected as the unit model of the belt, and in discrete model based on the finite element method, a dynamic equation of the discrete model has been established. And the dynamic simulation for project examples shows that the model can better reflect the dynamics of belt conveyor.On brake cylinder flaws in the structure, in the paper design of the brake cylinder is modified to solve their problems, for the new brake cylinder brake torque larger, volume and weight smaller. And a new hydraulic control system has been developed to solve the hydraulic system pressure and precise control of security problems.Hydraulic disc brake control system is a pressure control loop. As long as the oil pressure in the system is changed the braking torque can be obtained, in the system the proportional relief valve is used to adjust the pressure of the hydraulic system. This article focuses on the ideal set up hydraulic pressure control system, the mathematical model developed based on the actual situation of practical pressure control program.By the force analysis of braking belt conveyor, the force model of belt conveyor has been established. According to the mechanical model of disc brakes, a mathematical model of the device has been established, and the transfer function of the transmission has been obtained.Finally, disc brakes experimental analysis. The results show that: the system is very stable packing state, the braking performance is also very good, fully meet the standards required for the braking device, and by adjusting the proportional relief valve, the braking time and braking deceleration can be changed to meet the different mining requirements under the belt conveyor on the brake. The device has many advantages with running reliable and energy saving, and has a greater application value.
