The gas explosion accident is one of major disasters of coal mines , how to identifycontrol,a nd prevent gas explosion causing factors is a significa nt problem in coal mineproduction safety supervisory work in China. Therefore, the coal gas explosion accidentcausingmecha nism, and analyze coal gas explosion multi-level reasons, to realize mine gassafety ma nagement, prevent coal gas explosion is of great significa nce. In view of this, thispaper on typica l coal mine gas explosion caused analysis, from the three haza rd theory, usingstatistica l analysis and accident tree analysis method to establish the expla nation structuremodel based on the (ISM) gas explosion accident-causing model, and through the fuzzycomprehensive evaluation method conducts an empirica l applica tion research.First,through by 2010 in 2001 in the coal gas explosion happened statistics and analysisof the cause of the accident tree analysis research, mine gas explosion accidents were 50 basicevents, on this basis, using three haza rd theory, it will be classified into five levels 22 coal gasexplosion accident-causing factors.Secondly,through the systematic analysis of gas explosion causing factors, the complexrelationship among 22 causing factors was analyzed and confirmed, by using ISM modelmethod, the hierarchica l ISM model was constructed, which assort all causing factors of coalmine gas explosion into three hierarchy, the surface direct reason are gas concentration andtemperature. The midd le indirect reasons are explosion limit and fault of explosion-fire,persona l fault. The root reasons are bug of safety rules, government supervision system,ma nagement system. According to the research result, safety rules, government supervisionsystem, ma nagement system were the root effect factors, which were in-depth and basic. Gasexplosion accidents analysis proved the applicability of the ISM model. Third,coal gas explosion accident-causing ISM model empirica l applied research .Basedon ISM model, fuzzy mathematic methods were used in fuzzy judge on one coal mine in Henanprovince, mea ning that this model pla yed a role in instruction of gas safety ma nagement.Finally,according to the research of coal gas explosion in basic events and multi-la yerhierarchica l coal gas explosion accident-causing ISM model, in the term of safety behaviorma nagement, safety technology ma nagement, safety administration, safety informationma nagement, and safety input ma nagement,methods and suggestions were put forward,which were helpful to the foundation fo long effect system for gas explosion prevention.
