Study On Environmental Protection Industry Financing In Beijing - Tianjin - Hebei Region

With the growth of economy and the increase of living standards, people pay more attention to the quality of environment. As our country’s political, economic and cultural center, the environment problem of Beijing increasingly attracts the attention of the society. The government is promoting the coordinated development of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Region. The integration of the ecological environment is an important part. Environmental problem is regional problem, so researching the environmental protection industry of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Region is of great significance. The ecological cooperation of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Region has had a good start and made some achievements. But there are still a lot of problems. Environmental protection industry has the characteristics of public goods and externality. So the financial support of government is particularly important. But the cost of investment of the environmental governance project is high and the government budget is limited. So how to attract more money into projects of environmental protection is the key. The environmental protection enterprises of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Region are mostly small in size. Government departments should formulate corresponding policies and encourage financial institutions to provide financial services for environmental protection enterprises. The driving mechanism of interests of the environmental protection industry should be improved. Then more private capital and international capital will be attracted to the environmental protection project of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Region. This article mainly analyzes the environment status of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Region, the situation and finance of environmental protection industry. Finally, this article proposes some suggestions to alleviate the financing difficulties of environmental protection industry of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Region.
