The intensity of the population aging leads to the more concern for the industry development of the aging group. At present, the products for the aging population in the domestic market are mostly found in the field of medical care. There are few entertainment equipment developed for the spiritual life for the aged. Based on the humanized design notion and focusing on the physical heath and brain health that the aged people are most concerned with, this thesis constructs the humanized design model of the toys for the aged and proposes the reasonable design scheme by deeply researching the needs of the aged for the puzzle toys.Firstly, it has compared and analyzed the public-known puzzle fitness toys for the aged. Then it has summarized the general characters and weaknesses to lead to the humanized design demand of the toys for the aged. Secondly, the thesis has analyzed the relations of humanized design and ergonomics, international design and emotional design to define the research scope and direction of the humanized puzzle fitness toys for the aged and propose the humanized research methods, that is user research method. The group characters of the aged group are analyzed to lay the foundations for the research of the elderly users. With the user method based on qualitative and quantitative research, this paper penetrates the deep needs of the aged people for the fitting and puzzle game and entertainment. Then based on the results of previous theoretical analysis and user research, the thesis proposes the humanized design principles of the fitness and puzzle games for the aged people. Based on the proposed design principles, the thesis constructs the A.I.A. model to search the design opportunity of toys for the aged. By using the model to brainstorm and evaluate the design motion to decide the design direction of the fitness and puzzle game for the elderly. Finally, based on the humanized design model and design idea, the thesis conducts practical tests to develop a type of novel toy for the elderly with the function of fitting, monitoring, alarming and interactions among people to build a wise and funny communicative channel of the elderly and their guardian and fellows.In the thesis, it has systematically present and analyzed the humanized design motion, method and design model of the puzzle fitness toys for the aged. It also provides the research idea and method for the research and development of the product for the aged.
