Coal is China’s important energy, played a great role in the development of our national economy. After the coal seam is mined, surrounding rock losing balance, under the action of gravity, bends, tension fracture, falling, which leads to surface subsidence or collapse, It can threat to the safety of mines. In the process of coal mining, a large amount of waste of coal gangue is stacked on the surface of the earth, which not only takes up a lot of land resources, but also can pollute the groundwater and soil. It is very important to study the influence of underground mining on the surface movement and deformation, which is of great significance to the safety production of coal mine and the geological environment protection and restoration.This research takes Lu-Ping Coal Mining as an engineering example, based on reading a large number of mining subsidence of the literature and understanding of natural and socio-economic conditions of project area, using ArcGIS and other GIS related software using ArcGIS software and FLAC3D software establish the three-dimensional geological model to simulate the surface subsidence situation of the Lu-Ping Coal Mine in southeastern mining area coal mining, and compared with the Calculation results of empirical method. On the basis of numerical simulation, the related data of surface subsidence is extracted, and the surfer software is used to deal with the data. Finally, simulated the surface movement and deformation under the condition of gangue fillingThe results show FLAC3D numerical simulation method and the traditional prediction methods compared to has a very strong advantage when expected the surface subsidence; The surface movement caused by underground mining in mountainous area is obviously different compared with the plain, movement range and sinking value is larger than the plain, horizontal displacement is asymmetrical,the surface movement and deformation is greatly influenced fluctuating surface; Using surfer software to establish the surface subsidence visualization model, can quickly calculate the volume of subsidence basin and facilitate the statistics of filling quantity; Coal Gangue Filled goaf can effectively control the underground strata and surface movement and deformation.
