Glass is a kind of important architectural and ornamental material that is used widely in many fields such as building construction, automobile production, furniture manufacture and so on. And glass cutting is one of the important work procedures in the glass machining process. At present, compared with the same type of foreign products, home-made glass cutting equipments still have disparities in location precision, cutting speed, running dependability and so on. So, home glassworks generally use imported glass cutting equipments. Therefore it is of important meaning to develop automatic glass cutting system dependently and it will greatly improve international competitive power of domestic glass machine manufacturer.According to the glass cutting process, the paper was designed by the PC, PLC, servo drives, servo motors and ancillary equipment consisting of glass cutting system. The system has automatically glass feed functions; the controller can receive from the host computer graphics information automatically cutting, design the aerodynamic of the structure-stripping, make stripping easy. In cutting the accuracy, the system uses the interpolation algorithm. Based on the PLC, the thesis use of the smallest deviation, digital integration to achieve a straight line and circular interpolation.The arraying optimization problem of glass deep-processing products is to improve the yield of key products, but also difficult problem. As profiled in the glass can be one of the least tolerant of rectangular, and therefore optimize the layout of the contour glass into the two-dimensional rectangular layout optimization problem, the problem is NP (Non-deterministic Polynomial) completely.
