In the course of continuous casting production, the key equipment as the mould, performance and whole quality of it, Influence which could produce going on smoothly and product quality directly. The quality of The key equipment of mould-width adjustment cylinder directly impact the quality of the mould.This text sums up the development,composition and characteristics of Electrohydraulic Proportional.This subject leads advanced virtual instrument technology into the test technology of electrohydraulic proportional test bed.It has realized the combining organically of the machine and electricity and liquid.But we have developed electrohydraulic proportional test bed for width adjustment cylinder of mould on the basic of virtual instrument.The electrohydraulic proportional test bed mainly include hydraulic pump,high pressure filter,storage device,ratio relief valve,loading cylinder and other hydraulic elements.This text has put forward a method in signals gathered and the type of all kinds of sensors chosen and installment based on virtual instrument,the choice of data acquisitions and the method of digital signal export to control electromagnetic valve have been put forward also.And has written width adjustment cylinder test software system under the environment of language LabVIEW.Take performance experiment of the dynamic performance test as an example and give detailed course of test and control in the front board and procedure block.We have analyzed and discussed the test result on the basis of this.Design of this device, make the off-line detecting system of the steel mill to can test the whole quality of the new-style width adjustment cylinder for mould under load operating modes,situation while making the operating mode while measuring off-line closer to online production, thus enable measuring the data more true and can be believed, avoid causing some quality problems to leak because of operating mode difference then influence the situation of production to appear,improve the production efficiency of the steel factory greatly.There is very high value to popularize in the similar steel manufacturing enterprise in above-mentioned working achievements.
