The vibration of elevator car increasing as the running speed faster, riding comfort becomes the bottleneck of the elevator development. The main objective of this dissertation is to investigate the dynamics behavior of the traction elevator and provide theory basis for the vibration control of the elevator. The background and significance of the work for this dissertation are introduced, the development trend and current dynamic research of the elevator are reviwed, and research contents in this dissertation are presented.The given speed curve of elevator is analyzed, and the elevator speed curve is selected in consideration of the elevator operating efficiency, riding comfort and analysis conveniences. The theory and calculation method for modal and transient response is presented.A model of 7 degree-of-freedom coupling vibration equations for 1:1 ratio traction elevator system is developed, the natural frequencies varied by time in the whole stage of start-up, running and brake is obtained. The time-varying system is divided to a finite number of time-invariant system by using elastodynamics method. Vertical vibration acceleration caused on different conditions is analyzed separately.An coupled cabin-slide guide-rail vibration model of elevator is developed, the elastic deformation of the rail generated in process of elevator running is considered, The elastic vibration of the rail is simulated with continuous beam, Effect of the horizontal vibration of elevator system caused by rail bending in the same direction, the anisotropy direction and the elastic deformation generated in the running of elevator is calculated separately.The elevator system is reduced to the traction rope-car system, a horizontal vibration model of elevator is built. The distributed mass model is transformed to lumped mass model by using coordinate transformation, Galerkin's method and separation of variables, modal and transient response analyses of the elevator are performed, Furthermore, dynamic behavior influenced by the main elevator parameters is analyed.The simulation platform is developed based on virtual instrument and using C++ program design language. Under the platform, the natural frequency of vertical vibration for elevator is analysed.
