The Research Of "Overall Control·Self-help Construction" Mode In Shuangqiao District, Hangzhou

The urbanization in China is growing fast, whose leading advantages have put impact on traditional rural society, causing its fission. Under this context, and on the basis of "construction mode", this paper is trying to interpret and reflect the top-down construction mode of modern construction system and new countryside construction based on the system, presenting its errors and limit. With inspirations from residential construction of developed countries, and based on "local architecture", this paper will be searching for a local spaces construction mode—"self-help construction under overall controls", a mode under which the constructors and users are interactive and unified, reflecting the self-demand and constructive desire sufficiently, and finally trying to build the new local settlements in ShuangQiao District,the rural-urban fringe zone in Hangzhou.This mode emphasizes the interactivity between users and creators, presents users'true demands and aspirations, and pays respect to the wills of users. What's more, the mode is building flexible space platform for the sustainable development of rural space, making it capable of dealing with different demands in the coming development, presenting the unique vitality of villages in this district, and creating the special rural character of rural-urban fringe zone in the urbanization.
