Study On The Installation Method Of Traffic Safety Facilities In Rural-urban Fringe Zone

Along with the rapid growth of economic and the accelerated development of urbanization in China,the consistently increasing travel demands among urban and rural residents result in a variety of traffic problems in rural-urban fringe areas.It is very essential to improve and perfect road geometric design and enhance the management of drivers and vehicles.In the same time,scientific setting-up traffic safety facilities plays an important role in improving the safety level on the roads among rural-urban fringe areas.According to the investigation results,it is ubiquitous that rural-urban fringe areas are facing a series of problems,such as severe insufficient,unqualified facilities,poor coordination and inferior standard.These problems will definitely be harmful to the driving order and local traffic safety.Based on the problems,the study combines the traffic characteristics of representative roads in rural-urban fringe areas and the current setup situation of traffic safety facilities,delivering methods of setting traffic safety facilities and setup system investigation.This study provides an essential fundamental research and important guarantee for scientific setup traffic safety facilities in rural-urban fringe areas and decrease the possibility of traffic accidents.The study follows a range of research methods,including the investigation of current status,the analysis of problems,the construction of the system,the application of examples and the valuation of traffic.First of all,this study adopts the K734 to K743 of Luobai Road in Luoyang as the research objects,which are the representative traffic roads in the rural-urban fringe area.This study analyzes the specific traffic performance characteristics and the current placement of traffic safety measures,according to the field trip and current traffic investigation.Second of all,this study determined the major hidden danger parts by systematically analyzing the features of traffic accidents in the rural-urban fringe area in the past three years.Thirdly,according to the traffic conflict theory,classify traffic safety facilities according to their functions.And based on the national standard and setup requirements of traffic safety facilities,this study comes up with the setup measurements of traffic safety facilities in the rural-urban fringe area.Furthermore,AutoCAD is adopted to design the scheme for setting traffic safety facilities in the sections K735 to K742 of Luobai Road.This study uses a fuzzy comprehensive evaluation to evaluate the results,which indicated that the proposed system can significantly improve traffic safety in the rural-urban fringe area.The study systematically analyzes the setup methods systems of traffic safety facilities in the rural-urban fringe area,highlighting the systematicness and practicability.The economic parts have not been discussed in this study,which will be investigated in future researches.
