According to the extensive application of automotive cylinders and strengths and weaknesses of traditional hydraulic test systems, the design is about a project of hydraulic test system based on the combination of laser ranging techniques and reverse engineering. The project is a solution for the influence of contact measurement in testing cylinder and the work environment; the difficulty of air bubbles detection and removal in the water system; incomprehensive measuring of deformation data of cylinder and the low level of technology and automation。The whole design is mainly including these parts:equipment structure and movement planning design, applications of laser sensors and other components, data collection design, conversion of data content and data format, applications of Excel VBA and VC++and CAD model reduction by Reverse Engineering. The design includes hardware structure design and software applications, not only to make an effective proposal for resolve problems of the current status, but also introduce many advanced concepts and hardware applications. It is a new direction for innovations of hydraulic test, and also makes a contribution for the safe use of gas cylinders.
