Power plant main steam temperature system's large inertia, nonlinear, multi-disturbance, large delay and other factors have been the difficulties of power plant process control, and the stability of the main steam temperature control for power plant boiler's stable and secure functioning, energy-saving, emission reduction, as well as improving economic efficiency is of great significance, therefore, many manufacturers and experts have done a great deal of their research, but the results are still not very satisfactory.For the above, with the field tests and observation on the power plant, the main steam temperature system's characteristics are analyzed, the development and application of control system has been studied, also, the method, the thought and the shortcomings of control are discussed. Reference to the theory of predictive control the state-line observation function ADC (average deviate control) control system is developed and designed, and the simulation results show that, comparing with traditional PID control method, the qualities are about 50% better, and when the traditional method gets out of control the ADC control can still be able to work stability, reflecting a good robustness. In addition, in order to improve the adaptive of ADC control system, with the introduction of fuzzy control technology, the fuzzy-ADC control system which the parameters can be adjusted automatically has been designed, simulation results show that the qualities have been greatly improved relating to the ADC control system, and it turns out to have a certain practical value.
