In modern society traffic pressure is lager and lager day by day, Intelligent Traffic System (ITS) is the most important technical means which can solve this difficult problem. Vehicle Navigation System is one of important parts of ITS, which has being a research focus at home and abroad. And Vehicle Navigation System need traffic electronic map of cities: navigation electronic map loaded by user terminals can be used in showing traffic information of urban road network and supporting path planning; traffic information center can also analysis overall traffic of the city and distribute traffic flow in reason according to traffic electronic map. User terminals and traffic information center exchange real-time information, finally it becomes a secure, comfortable and fast traffic environment.With the increasing of the number of vehicles in cities, road researching based on dynamic road impedance is only valuable in practice. Traditional navigation electronic map reflects static traffic information well; however, lack the description of dynamic traffic information. In order to meet the requirement of dynamic navigating, we must develop dynamic navigation electronic map. This paper is based on this problem, and discusses the technical issue related to expression technology of real-time traffic information in electronic map.This paper puts real-time traffic information into static navigation electronic map.The focus and the innovations of this paper are as follow:1. Study the technology related to making static navigation electronic map. The author uses the structure of vector data to organize spatial data of electronic map, and design attributes related to roads in order to express connectivity of road network, make a navigation electronic map according to process of making.2. Study the technology of GPS positioning. GSP positioning data isn't only one of sources of real-time traffic information, but can also provide precise coordinates of starting point and terminal point. Base on the introduction of principle of GPS positioning and technology of coordinate transformation, we propose an algorithm based on arc weight, this algorithm realizes the screen displaying of positioning point. Finally, we verify the feasibility of the algorithm according to experiment of running car.3. Discuss the visualization expression of real-time traffic information; the author uses Linear Referencing Method and Dynamic Segmentation technology at the same time. In addition, we use Technology of Level of Detail to complete the expression of real-time traffic information in electronic map in various scales. |
