The water hydraulic driving technology has a good environment, high security and cleaning. It has an extensive application prospects in the field of paper, food and construction machinery. With the rapid development of the modern design methods and new engineering materials, the water hydraulic technology has become a new hot research in domestic and foreign hydraulic industry. More and more digital products appear because computer has a lot of use in the hydraulic system. The advantage of the digital valve contains low cost, low power consumption, convenient operation, low sensitivity to pollution, as well as simple and flexible and so on. It has become a new direction in the development of the fluid transmission control technology.The pure water has high vaporization pressure, low viscosity, and corrosion characteristics and so on. It arouses that the research and production of the water hydraulic relief valve face a lot of the technical problems such as cavitation damage, erosion, and poor tightness. Cavitation is a serious problem which often occurs in hydraulic system, particularly in water hydraulic valve. Therefore, It has great practical value that developing excellent performance, long life and high pressure water hydraulic relief valve. It mainly starts from new engineering materials, structural optimization design and processing technology.The Relief valve is a key component of pressure regulation and control in hydraulic system. So, the performance of the water hydraulic relief valve plays a very important role in the water hydraulic system. The paper mainly analyses from the flow field simulation and dynamic performance simulation of the water hydraulic relief valve. Fluent simulation software simulates and analyses the flow field simulation for hydraulic poppet valve, and obtains simulation diagram of the relevant parameters, and then simulates and analyzes several other different parameters structural forms and analyses the relationship between the valve's performance and the main parameters; Simulink software established the subsystem and the whole system simulation model of the relief valve, and simulates the relevant parameters of dynamic performance which impacts digital pressure relief valve, and analyses the influence of different parameters for the dynamic performance of relief valve. It can provide a theoretical basis for production design of the digital water hydraulic relief valve.On the basis of the flow field and dynamic performance simulation of the relief valve, I preliminary design the digital water hydraulic relief valve structure, check and calculate for major structural size. At Water Hydraulic Relief Valve manufacturing process, It described the technological requirements of the pilot valve and main valve. According to the design requirements of this topic, I choose the valve core, valve seat and seal materials, and also choose valve drive and controller. Finally, I simply analyze the input and output characteristic of the digital water hydraulic relief valve.
