Research On The Relations Of Coordinated Development Between Living Environment And Economy In Xi'an City

Urban construction and improvement of living environment is the eternal theme of humanity, as the city plays a regional economic cohesion in the center of the source drive, while the role of human settlements, urban living environment is facing increasingly intense challenges. In the context of positioning Xi'an become an international metropolis development strategies, the coordinated development of Xi'an living environment and Economy as an important theme of sustainable urban development. Comprehensive evaluation on the development of urban living environment and economic system become an urgent need.Firstly, under the guidance of Human Settlements, Coordination theory, Sustainable development, ecological economics theory, based on Xi'an Empirical data, we establish evaluation index system for Xi'an urban living environment and economic system. Then, based on Xi'an statistical data in 1995-2008, using SPSS software to run the principal component analysis and calculated coordinated development degree to partition the. coordination level during the study period. According to the analysis identifying obstacles for development of two systems. Finally, on the basis of the empirical analysis of urban living environment and economic development, propose improvements in two ways. The main results are as follows:(1) System constructed integrated evaluation system for urban living environment and economic system. Where urban living environment evaluation system, including living conditions, urban environment, public infrastructure, social stability and cultural development, education as a feature layer of 15 indicators. Economic development evaluation system including economic base, industrial structure, income level of consumption, economic aspects of openness as the elements layer of 11 indicators.(2) The results show that:In 1995-2001 the city of Xi'an in the seven years living environment and economic system in a state of barely coordinated development; 2002-2004 as the primary coordinated development; Beginning in 2004, the coordinated development of the two systems increased more than fast, Coordinated development in 2005 into the intermediate state, since 2007 into a well-coordinated development section.(3) In the coordination of sub-categories, except for the state in 1995 the two systems simultaneous development. The subsequent annual living environment for urban development lagging behind economic development. Although in subsequent years urban living environment and economic system composite scores are on the rise, but the absolute difference between the systems become more and more points.(4) Principal component analysis showed that:The main factors affecting the living environment system are the infrastructure conditions, living conditions and the degree of social civilization.
