Today, with the growing of resources shortage, how to save energy-consumption become serious problems to solve. With its comfortable and energy-saving characteristics, Natural ventilation gets more and more attention by people. Shandong area is a relatively abundant region with wind resources, so how to make better use of natural ventilation, makes meeting the basic requirements of fresh air volume in winter, and taking the heat load loss and the interior waste heat in summer become the key. This paper focuses on the following several aspects:a single building in different wind speeding, under the condition of different direction Angle of natural ventilation status changes, different architectural layout of buildings on the influence of the environment conditions around in shandong district, and natural ventilation potential analysis discussed.First, Classification of climate characteristic of Shandong Peninsula area discussed, to select standards years meteorological data and typical meteorological years hourly weather parameters, getting different regions of the wind, the wind numerical. In discussing single building complex of characteristics of natural ventilation and natural ventilation characteristics using standard years of meteorological parameters, at the time of natural ventilation potential analysis of Shandong province using typical meteorological year-by-hour weather parameters.Secondly, the single building in five areas of outdoor environment in winter condition for simulation of natural ventilation. First of all, to simulate winter conditions, the simulation results show that the single building in Jinan area, Longkou areas and Yanzhou areas of poor situation of natural ventilation. The ventilation rate in parts of the building was too small, some regional form Vortex, the negative pressure area of some regions are very large. The natural ventilation status better in Weifang areas and Chengshantou areas, the winter maximum wind frequency wind angle is 337.5°. Because with the larger outdoor wind average wind speed in Chengshandou areas in winter, entered indoor of wind speed also higher, beyond the comfortable requirements of people on wind speed is less than equal to 0.3 M/s, so the single building with the best winter natural ventilation status in Weifang. Then, doing the comparison simulation for the winter and summer status of Jinan area and Weifang area, the results shows that the single building with the best status in Weifang area and the worst status in Jinan area. So with the climate environment of Weifang area, the single building meets the winter wind, summer ventilation, the fresh air requirments of indoors at the same time and harmful air pollutants can take out of the building around in time. Finally, placing the single building into three different layout planning of buildings to simulate, and analysis the effects of its own with nearby complex layout changes for the natural ventilation. Bring it to the Jinan area with poor ventilation conditions. Simulation results show that reasonable building layout can effectively improve the situation of natural ventilation, in the layout of one case, the natural ventilation with a greatly improved around a single building. Comparing to a single building, the natural ventilation gets more effective and reaches the requirements of preserving a certain comfort and low energy consumption.Finally, Shandong region five meteorological site areas doing the natural ventilation potential analysis and calculating their PDPH value. Simulation results show that the natural ventilation of these five areas with from favorably to the poor are Weifang region, Chengshantou region, Longkou region, Yanzhou district, Jinan region. For all of the buildings model type in every region, Weifang region from favorably to the poor are D, F, B, E, C, A; Chengshan region from favorably to the poor are A, C, B, E, D, F; Jinan region from favorably to the poor are D, B, A, E, C, F; Yanzhou region from favorably to the poor are E, A, C, B, F, D; Longkou region from favorably to the poor are B, E, A, C, D, F.
