Glass fiber reinforced plastic/ polymer (GFRP) is a kind of high performance composites materials. The strengthening structure with F1tP sheets is bonding FRP sheets to the surface of structural elements with an epoxy matrix. Compared with other reinforcing methods, it is high efficiency and widely applicable, good durability etc. More important is the GFRP nets relatively cheap and construction is convenient, meanwhile it has heat preservation effect. It adapted to the current energy-saving advocate, to make the GFRP sheet reinforcement technique in the field of masonry structure and further, aiming at the popularization and application of FRP sheets reinforcement bricking structures and to improve the study of spot, this paper hopes through experiment and theoretical research, GFRP nets strengthening project design basis of masonry.At first, the developments of research and application on the strengthening masonry with FRP sheets were summarized in this paper, and then being in progress studying analysis. The experiment adopted the GFRP net that the Hebei Renqiu material company provides. Different types of FRP sheets and different strengthening styles are used to strengthen brick masonry in the test. And an increase of the in-plane shear capacity and the change of strain and displacement and so on were studied. According to the phenomena and data of the test, the types of FRP sheets, bonding styles, anchorage systems how to affect the effects of strengthening was explored from the aspects of increase of the horizontal shear capacity, displacement of wall, variation of hysteretic loops and skeleton curve, change of stiffness and ductility. Test that analytical result indicates the step body, the GFRP net consolidates is a kind of effective method.Paper to elaborate on the proposed static test conducted three seismic contrast test (the net, is sticky being sticky stick 1 layer of GFRP covering document) a total of 6 walls, come to different layers of GFRP adhesive nets Seismic performance of masonry have different degrees of increase, the final formula for calculating shear capacity, and the formulas can be used in engineering.
