As the growing enrollment of Chinese university going on, the existing hardware and equipments are getting harder and harder to meet students'demands. As a result, multifunction halls have become popular architectures. However, these halls are sometimes restricted by the building storey, plus the complex interior pipeline layout such as ventilation and air conditioning systems. These factors make these halls to be a low large scale architecture. And the high acoustic quality demand has made the top sound absorber structure in sound effect control design ve-y difficult.In order to explore ways to solve this problem, basing on the construction of the Ocean University of China Gymnasium multi-function hall, in order to overcome the contradictions between construction story and the top acoustic renovation, this paper presents two ways of acoustic quality control programs-Flat Top Scheme and Autistic Well Scheme. Through three-dimensional mathematical modeling with accurate expression of the key to the composite absorber structure and technical details in the virtual space on ODEON, virtualization results show the reconstructed sound quality control parameters-the reverberation time T30, the early lateral reflection factor LF80, the clarity C80, the definition D50, and the sound pressure level SPL. After comparative analysis of these parameters of these two programs, the optimal one is chosen.In the project implementation process, we use PULSE data acquisition and analysis system; along with on-site tracking measurement, for the analysis of virtualization results verify the ODEON and timely amendment to acoustic quality control program. After completion, the field measurement results show that the multi-function hall of the visual effects and sound quality parameters meet relevant national standards.Although the construction of low large scale architectures in practical application is various, the use of pre-modeling of the acoustic virtualization technology can always be found in the program pre-research phase of a large flat space for the best quality control, thereby provide ensuring quality, reducing the investment with scientific basis and technical support.
