With society being developing, modern multifunctional gymnasiums are beingbuilt across the whole country of which gymnasiums of universities consist ofconsiderable parts. Besides physical education and Athletic Contests, it is necessarythat Big Show, movie projection and commencement and some kinds of otheractivities are staged in gymnasium of university. Diversity of demands adddifficulties in gymnasium design. It is indispensable that electroacoustic andArchitectural acoustics quality control and stage arrangement and lighting design andso on.This dissertation focuses on gymnasium of ocean university of China, one ofUndertaking venues of The11th National Games, and take it as an example toillustrate Simulation techniques Research of Multifunctional gymnasium. Thisdissertation studies aspects of electroacoustic and Architectural acoustics:In Architectural acoustics, utilize Odeon software to implement accurate andcommensurate gymnasium modeling. On the basis of that, analyze which parts ofgymnasium influence reverberation time most and simulate the designed acousticabsorption scheme thus determining ultimate devising plan. In the meanwhile, collatethe actual measuring data and simulating data in order to confirm the accuracy andfeasibility of simulation technique.In electroacoustic, utilize Ease software to simulate appropriate position oflouderspeakers to figure out the optimal acoustic irradiation scheme.This dissertaion implements several aspects of work as following:Utilize Odeon software to accomplish accurate gymnasium modeling andsimulate relevent acoustic absorption units. Uitlize Pulse system to measure reverberation time in all constructing phases ofgymnasium, especially a full yard reverberation time measurement being conductedafter construction completement. It is significant for empty yard transforming to fullyard experiments.Utilize Ease software to simulate and further contrast each acoustic parametersand devise positions and angles of short lineal matrix loudspeakers and lowfrenquency loudspeakers and main loudspeaker so as to provide favorableelectroacoustic conditoin.Based on characters of acoustic sources in gymnasium, determine position ofstage and design constructing plan of light support brackets by Solidworks software.In sum, the research of this dissertaion has instructional consequence for acousticquanlity control in gymnasium and practical projects.
