Safe and stable supply of electrical energy is related major events of national planning, large-scale blackout is bound to cause enormous economic losses and serious impact on social life. Blackouts are subject to successive governments and the community great concern, such as the North American power grid 14 August 2003 a major blackout. As countries around the world on the power network stable control are very serious, and the national power network structure and the existence of different issues, focusing on surface is also different.The development has brought to China's grid,and we can get some experiences and warnings: To establish a sound and effective regional power network stable control system has been delay.In recent years, although no large-scale power outage, but we should see that China's power network is still relatively weak, there is existing similar problems as the foreign power network, and even more severe.For example: the weak interconnection between regional power network, some power network exists irrational structure, a lot of power network require to build three defensive lines of the defense system basing on the established guidelines, the management system is not perfect and so on.Under the premise that getting in-depth understanding of power system stable control,this article begins to study and practice the approach of regional power network's reliability from both theory and practice. The stability of the regional power network makes a cornerstone of stability in the entire grid.First, the paper analyzes the situation and characteristics of domestic and international stability control, puts forward the types and measures of power system stable control technology. Then, the paper analyzes the regional power network stable control system principles, strategies and examples. And its compositions, connections and main functions were described. In this paper, We designed a secure device logic and hardware configuration, developed the use and operation of the device precautions, finally developed a secure site joint inspection methods.In order to fully achieve the set of system,we use a lot of charts and data to particularly describe its logic, subassembly, maintenance software, exceptional information,and so on.It has provided with a high value and efficiency. This study focuses on the principle, design and applied research of power network stable control technology, through theoretical analysis and drawing some interesting examples,we have got some experiences and conclusions for power network stable control technology update and provided a further application for reference.
