Comply with the fast development of the port container industry, the large-scale quay-side container cranes(following abbreviate container cranes)have been used in extensive application on container load & unload industry, the distinguishing features with high speed, high efficacy and specialization exert important function.The electronic control system of the container crane is an integrated simulation or digital regulate speed control system, include high-voltage unit、integrated electric circuit board、SCR regulate electric current、IGBT、PLC、regulate drive、computer、communication、network and micro electron technology etc.The study work of this item is based on the analysis of the container crane’s operational pattern and electronic control system, in connection with the present situation and the existing problems of the natural selection container cranes, we study and exploit an electronic control system based on Japan Hitachi simulation direct current regulate speed control technology(using PCB integrated electric circuit board realize direct current motor’s voltage-regulate speed control by regulating magnetic field of the power generator in high-voltage unit), and integrate Japan Yaskawa digital direct current speed regulation control technology, add PLC、computer、network and database technology etc, and realize the integrated application with the electronic control system and the monitoring system.The work which detecting and collecting data on simulation electronic control system must realize the real time detection and collection with the basic technology parameters、operational data and logic control data. The digital electronic control system needs analyzing、optimizing and listing systematically these data, and realizes the integrated application.The upgraded electronic control system can realize the real time control on the container operational status by using PLC control software, at present using CP 717 control software of Japan Yaskawa; the container crane monitoring system(CMS)can provide foundation data on operational managment、fault detection、maintenance etc by collecting interrelated simulation quantity and digital quantity in Yaskawa electronic control system, and realize portion visible information by touching screen technology; and realize work in an office instead of scene work by wireless communication technology.
