Study On Outdoor Landscape Design Of Elderly Living Building

Under our country's rapid population structure aging and market economy background, the elderly industry promoted the express development of elderly living products, which brought crisis and opportunity for solving aging problem in China. It's a significant elderly living building content that how to improve the living environment and life quality of old-age in the current elderly-maintenance model.With the change of the elderly-maintenance view, collective elderly-maintenance is becoming more and more elderly people preferred way. Living environment directly impacts the of the elderly twilight-years life quality, therefore improving the outdoor landscape design of elderly living building has become the most urgent task of Landscape Architects.In this thesis, firstly on the basis of analyzed older persons'physical, psychological and behavioral characteristics, through the analysis of elderly living building types, living object types and living characteristics, and induced the living object personality characteristics; at the same time, both at home and abroad, in Kunming the development status quo data information for the elderly living building and outdoor landscape were collated for later study. Secondly, Kunming as an example, older age groups background information was investigated and lots of elderly-maintenance organizations were made scene investigation. Author mainly selected to the Kunming Evergreen Apartment, Yunnan Liujia ecological garden-style home-older apartment and Xianghe older apartment as three universal and representative elderly-maintenance institutions to study, and questionnaire survey was the main way to investigate elderly people living in Evergreen apartment, and used post occupancy evaluation (POE) on the 204 valid questionnaires to evaluate the using status quo. The main problems of older people currently living in Kunming City buildings outdoor environment and the main landscape elements of older people outdoor activities impact included:border landscape, path and pavement, node landscape, public facilities, plants, water bodies. Furthermore, Yunnan old people's homes-Evergreen Apartment outdoor landscape alteration design as an example to offer further evidence for theoretical study. Good elderly living building outdoor landscape is bound to promote the city's older people's life quality and enhance life satisfaction and add new content for the appearance of the city. Finally, combining the geographical and climatic uniqueness of Kunming, explored a suitable Kunming elderly industry development model which is tourism, regimen, elderly-maintenance, vacation as one of the "migrants-style" living environment model. Hope to provide theoretical support and measures for the elderly industry development of Kunming. This is also the main idear of this thesis.
