Investigation And Study Of The Elderly Living Environment And Behavior Of Living In The Home Care Model

In 21' st, the aging tendency is one of the most important problems in our country. In promoting aging in place for the aged, I do some basic research on the living condition of the elderly under the pattern of aging in place. And this paper will provide the basis of the improvement of living environment quality and the foundation of design principle of the elderly under the pattern of aging in place.This paper synthetically apply behavior observation method and interview investigation method with writing, sketch, and photo to classify living behavior of the elderly under the construction "humanist" principle. We could make clear about the living conditions, living behavior and the psychological characteristic of the elderly on tracing the actives in their lives. Simultaneously, this paper is intend to make clear the relationship between nursing staff and extrinsic behavior of the elderly on the basis of investigation in detail of service for the elderly.It is found from the research: (1)Living scope of the elderly is smaller and their living behavior is relatively stable; (2)Life style of the elderly can be divided into two types: a. Behavior-mixed; b. Behavior-associated. From the view of outer phenomenon, service for the elderly have not effected on the consistency of living behavior of the elderly; (3)Human relation of the elderly and nursing staff can be divided into three types: (1) Trusting each other; (2) Spiritual cares; (3) Chatting.In thorough investigation foundation, this paper carries on the theoretical analysis to the investigation result from the behavior place boundary, the influence of the behavior place to the elderly and the Suitability and flexible of behavior place to the elderly three aspects. And this paper will provide the basis of the improvement of living environment quality and make the preliminary study of design pattern of the elderly under the pattern of aging in place.
