As the rapid development of China's infrastructure construction, the concomitant environmental problems have been emerging gradually. Some large infrastructure such as roads and bridges brought about even worse environmental problems during the construction. As a kind of large infrastructure, bridges caused much negative environmental impact in life cycle, which is a threat to the environmental healthy and harmonious socialist society. Therefore, it is necessary to do systematical research with the environmental impact in bridges'life cycle and develop corresponding evaluation methods.Based on the systematical analysis of life cycle assessment theory and fuzzy comprehensive evaluation theory, the hierarchys and indexes of bridges'LCA were deeply studied by relying on construction scientific research project(200619), a fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method was put forward, and The Southern Taizi Lake bridge and Moshui Lake bridge in Wuhan were analyzed and compared as a typical case.The main results of research are as follows:1. The basic theory and methods of LCA and fuzzy comprehensive evaluation were studied systematically. A fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method to bridge life cycle environmental impact was first put forward to realize the quantization of environmental impact indicators and comprehensive evaluation. Meanwhile, the system with multi-level and multi-factor evaluation index was established. On the basis, bridges in Wuhan were taken as typical cases.2. Deeply studied the estimate target weight method, on the basis of AHP method, IAHP method, a affirmatory method of estimate index weight about bridge life cycle environmental impact was put forward, which can overcome the complexity of consistency check of AHP and make the index calculation more convenient.3. Different bridges in Wuhan City such as Southern Taizi Lake bridge and Moshui Lake bridge were compared and analyzed in terms of life cycle environmental impact. The results show that two bridges both caused little pollution to the environment, and the Southern Taizi Lake bridge make even less. The environmental negative impact during construction stage of Southern Taizi Lake bridge was evidently reduced by introducing a new construction method. A fuzzy comprehensive evaluation system of bridge life cycle environmental impact has formed through system research, which has important and realistic significance to control the pollution produced during bridge construction and realize the compatible and sustainable development of economic environment.
